Hi from Belgium.

Lately I have some ignition problems with my 1996 P38 4.6. In the morning, or if it has been standing for a while, the Rangie starts fine. If switching off engine and immediately starting again it's fine to. But if parked and starting it after 10 or 15 minutes, after driving it in the morning, it won't start at all. The only way to get it working is to push the gas peddle fully down and start for 2 or 3 times, before it will pick up. I've changed the spark plugs and leads, but no change. Any suggestions?

Regards Jacques

Have you listened out for the fuel pump kicking in, could be a simple thing like replacing relay.

On a 96 by now you would have disconnected all the plugs from under the fuse box and applied electrical switch/contact cleaned
