I really need to meet some of you guys and catch up with the rest of you! This is a very family friendly event, don't worry about ability or damaging your ride (of course disclaimer...you can mess it up!). There are trails from dirt roads to buggy only trails and you'll be amazed at what a completely stock Sport can do. (Fins N Things and Hell's Revenge)

Official site: http://solihullsociety.net/2014-land-rover-nation-rally/
Usually lacking with details, but rest assured it is a very well coordinated event.

September 16-20 in Moab, Utah. Agenda is Typically:

Tuesday - Check-In day.
Wednesday -Trails (or check-in early)
Thursday - Trails, something going on at night - probably bbq night.
Friday - Free day (you can go to Arches National Park, etc.), Vendor night, etc.
Satruday - Trails and Banquet

That looks great. I would love to go, but that would be one heck of a drive from Florida.

Oh Man... didn't realize those dates... We are going to be in Telluride in August, so not sure I can swing another trip back in September (you never know though)... Chances are I would be in the Disco, as I told myself when I got the 2nd Sport that I would not wheel it.

Would be good to catch up again.

Have fun dude! Just came back from Telluride...with a nice moto ride to Red Rock country in Gateway, just across from Moab. Looks like great weather and great fun with everyone!

Jealous - as always. Rover Rendezvous is coming up in a couple of weeks and I only get a one-weekend pass in September from SWMBO. :crybaby2: Have a great time 3E, photos are so 2010... Take some video with a drone this time.

Yeah, I was doing some stalking and found your campsite number... Looks like great fun though. Might think about that for next year as we typically don't make the off years of the rally. Do you go every year?

Re: Sports Check-In for the 2014 Land Rover National Rally here!

Yeah I try to go every year in support of our local LR club. This year I am actually leading a trail so I definitely need to be there. Pray for the poor *******s behind me! It is a far more intimate affair than the National Rally, usually 30 to 50 Land Rovers max joining, which is good and bad. Bad because you see pretty much the same faces every year, and good because you see pretty much the same faces every year, lol. It's a manageable event, the company is always great, everyone wins something at the raffle and it's a lot closer to home than Utah... But I'd switch places with you in a second if I had the time. Hope to see you next year maybe, we will probably go elsewhere as we've been coming to Big Bear for the past 3 or 4 editions. Maybe Death Valley, or up in the Sierras somewhere would be fun.
