Hi guys,
I have 2 problems with the speedo on my '88 classic. I think it would make sense to tackle both probs at once even though they may not be related.
1) at lower speeds the needle wanders a lot (+/- 10mph), once up to around 60/70mph it settles down. I have heard mention of an angle drive, could this be the culprit?
2) the illumination of the needle is not working, everything else lights up as it should. Is this a fibre optic problem and if so can it be fixed?
