While topping of the antifreeze in my 98 P38 I noticed a loose wire under the main fuse box near the radiator overflow.
It's a blue and white wire with a connection plug on the end.
It's a small wire twisted of a blue and a white wire.
I never noticed it before.
Does anyone know if it should be plugged into the fuse panel or was it just an option that didn't come from the factory?

Most likely the old alarm hooter that had a battery back up. They were located under the fuse box, nothing but problems and usually binned. There are no separate plugs on the underside of the fuse box.
