Took the wife to hospitle for a scan and car was ok, got in it to come home and got a very hard solid ride from the left rear, thought i had a flat tyre, got out and tyre was ok but still getting this hard harsh ride from the left rear, had wheel off but cant find anything wrong, anyone throw any light on this problem, i would normaly find and fix the problem myself but have to much on my mind while waiting for the results of the scan

I'm assuming the ride height is normal back there....

I'd check out the shock and make sure it isn't seized up (even though I've never seen it happen).

Yes the ride height is spot on, i will check the shock absorber in the morning, i think i had this problem once before on the left rear and it cured itself but now you say it does feel like a seized shock absorber.
