Anyone done this before? Someone keyed one of my windows, the glass scratch repair expert deems it not worth repairing (due to factory tint levels and depth of scratch) so I'm going to replace it. The part is inexpensive, but has anyone done this on their own before? Tips? It's the left (driver) rear passenger window.

robcman,

It's not a difficult job and no special tools are required. Lower the glass, remove the door trim panel. Pull back the insulating pad. Remove the plastic frame (on sides and top of door frame) Remove the rear guide channel (3 screws) There should be one bolt holding the glass to the regulator, remove it and then remove the glass. ibis1 ;)
