Anyone with Nitto 555s ever run them in snow and/or ice? Thought maybe with these tires on an AWD vehicle and sensible driving they would be OK. Trying to decide if i want to put the stock Conti's back on before making the drive to Alaska this winter. Any feedback appreciated.

You are kidding with this post I hope.

You are planning to drive to Alaska, in the winter time, on high performance street tires or the stock Conti's?

No...not kidding. I drove on high performance BFGs in Alaska for 6 years without any real issues on front wheel drive cars. I'm interested to see if anyone has any experience with this tire on snow/ice.
