I had the same problem. Front pad installation went smooth and easy using a caliper compression tool. The rears would not move. Then I remembered they may need to be turned while compressing. My Mercedes required turning while compressing. It took almost an hour per rear caliper slowly compressing/turning before I was able to get the pads in place. I was not aware of any parking brake retraction at the time. Maybe that would have reduced the time to compress the rear calipers. I'm ready for another set of pads and will replace the rotors this time. Hopefully no issues
