So long story, but bottom line is I have successfully begun to cross thread my Radiator fitting where the upper trans cooling line attaches. I backed out eighth hopes of getting a Die and refurb the threads. Unfortunately I have a radiator where the port is braised on, and I can not take the fitting out, So I will have to repair this thread.

My Question

What is the thread and pitch of the that fitting (Upper trans cooling line to radiator side tank). I have an old line where I can remove the old nut, but rather be able to just get a die and move on. I know the nut size is 24mm. I did see a 20x1.5 for the thread size, but that was for the oil side of the radiator

thanks in advance. -- rr

I don't know the thread size, but I found a few spare ESR1262 fittings in my parts bin. These fit the Nissens D1 replacement radiator which has female fitting brazed to the radiator, and ESR1262 adapts to the cooler line fittings. Without a proper thread gauge, it does appear to be M20x1.5 (right side in photo).
