Been awhile since I've been on the forums and good to see its still thriving!

I did some research and searching but only found a few post about roof racks. Most of the ones I saw were in regards to the rhinos, OEM, or the thule 430R.

I'd like to explore my options before buying so i'd love for you guys to show me your racks and/or opinions on racks!

Is drilling required for all racks? Makes me nervous.

at the top of my list at the moment is the rhino rack.

Thanks guys!

PJPR01 seems to be the resident expert on racks, but i think you've covered the usual suspects.
- OEM LR expedition rack
- Rhino
- Bajarack
- Thule

i think thule will route you towards installing their own roof rails while the others will work with the OEM rails, but i'm not 100% certain on that and an indy roof rack shop around here told me that the thule rails require additional drilling. roverracks.com has said they're coming out with one for the RRS, but nothing definite yet.

With OEM rails I believe it was '06s that required drilling. '07 on was predrilled.

I am not sure that Rhino Racks require drilling as we have not installed them ourselves. There are a few members on here that have purchased the Rhino Rack from us that might chim in on their install.
