Hey all, I found a clean hse for sale in my town (hard to pass up) that is immobilized. Not sure what this means but should I stay away?
Thanks,
Andy

As long as it comes with proper keys you can always send the BeCM and ECU to Scotty to be unlocked/remobilized. That would be a worst case scenario. Best case you visit the dealer with your proof of ownership, obtain the EKA code and fix it yourself... if it is not already locked down.

It mean the main brain s not talking to the engine... it thinks it is stolen if it is locked down. It thinks it has just been messed with if you can use the Emergency Key Access code.

It's showing sold on craigslist so maybe he took the dive into P38 ownership.
