Hi everyone,

I have change oil of my Range Rover sport 2017 diesel. And after following the instruction on another post to reset the service required indicator. While following instructions it says re-setting and then says reset. The next time I start the car the service light comes back on saying service required. Is there anything else I have to do? Do I have to change air filter or any other filters?
Thanks for the help.

Below are the instructions I follow to reset the light:( copied from another post )

1) Turned on ignition (foot off brake) 2) Open Hood 3) Open Driver door 4) hold brake & gas for 30 seconds 5) Let off brake gas 6) Turn off ignition.

General Procedures
Synchronization

NOTE: Make sure the Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment is not connected to the vehicle.

- Set the ignition to the ON position.
- Open the hood.
- Open the drivers door. NOTE: A service resetting message will appear on the instrument cluster.
- Fully depress both the accelerator and brake pedals and hold for 10 seconds.
- Set the ignition to the OFF position.
- Set the ignition to the ON position and check the message has been cleared.

- If the message remains, repeat the process.

Are your getting the reset message when you open the door?
