Ok guys,
I have an 88 that is new to me. Always thought it a bit quirkey that it had local English soccer club stickers on it. anyway, put it up in the air, and as far as i can tell from the parts catalog - it has a Self leveling unit attached to the rear pumpkin? what is that, how does it work, how would I test it?

apparently not on USA models?

I'm pretty confused right now!

That was standard on 88’s I believe. I have one on mine. I’ve never found replacement parts.

It called a Boge self leveling unit. Yes us Yanks had them as well. There is a firm in Australia that will rebuild them for around $400 if I remember correctly. There's a few existing threads about them so there's no need to repeat things here.

You wouldn’t happen to know the URL of that Aussie company would you?
