As a proud owner of a 2004 Rover and a nerd towards original equipment, I need to find the color codes for the secondary trim. My drivers door handle and hood vent are in bad need of painting. Color appears to be maybe a grey/silver? I want to be consistent with the rest of the Rover. Also the interior silver trim on the console is chipped. Is there a specific color for that? The Rover is Giverny Green with Ivory/Aspen interior. Has the Vogue up grade wood trim. Thank you in advance for your help!

I did my exterior handles in Rustoleum metallic flat “Soft Iron”. It’s very durable, looks great, and has a nice feel when you touch it. Prep by sanding with 400 grit and wipe clean with 99% alcohol.

For the hood hood trim I used a semi gloss stainless steel color made by DupliColor.

Reviving an old topic in case others looking to do something similar

I recently decided to repaint my hood insert the factory silver color on my 2008 L322

The following are the paint products I used:
  • [silver color] Rust-Oleum 245220A2 Universal All Surface Metallic Spray Paint, Titanium Silver, (amazon link)
  • [top coat] Rust-Oleum 302151 Universal All Surface Spray Paint, Clear Dead Flat (amazon link)
294683

294684

294685

The silver I would say is ~90% match to OEM...which is fine for my 100K mile range.

Hope this helps someone!
