I have a pair of heads from what must be a Thor engine, these are being fitted on to a GEMS engine

Does anyone know what thread the SAI holes in the heads are (near the exhaust ports) so I can blank them off

Regards

Found out that they are 5/8 20tpi fittings, cannot get any bolts or stud that size, they are almost £40 each and need 4 of them

Hi

Buy a tap set that is slightly bigger and retap the holes and plug them after that. Get plugs that seal on the top with copper washers or use loctite hydraulic sealant on the treads.

I can get some threaded plugs made locally but he is on minimum charge so finding out how many he can make for the minimum.

Also been offered a set but cannot find any service to send a prepaid shipping label, the parts are in the states and I am in the UK, all our courier services only offer shipping from the UK to USA, not the other way round. Any one know of a service that would work?
