My hood on my Chawton White 2007 RRS S/C got dented by hail and I was hoping the helpful group could point me in the direction of a salvage yard that may be able to sell me a white hood. I went to the body shop that my dealership suggested and they wanted to Bondo and repaint the hood but I do not want that. My dent guy said that since the hood is aluminum there is a good chance the paint will pop so I thought a replacement hood was my best option. Please help!

Thanks in advance.

I would call another PDR guy because that's the best way to fix this. I had dents removed from an aluminum hood and it was np. It was a Miata and that hood was as thin as a beer can.

At our dealership the bodyshop just lined up some trustworthy hail repair guys and let them do the work on the vehicles out in the parking lot and fixed whatever else they couldn't/ But it took a long time to get everyone taken care of. Those guys were there for a few months because of the back up. Some people had two month wait.
