I am feeling strangely grateful.

On our way to Asian Fest in downtown Cleveland a deer sprung in front of our brand new RRS ATB near I-77 and Harvard. I braked hard and then it hit the bumper and deflected up to the top of the windshield about 5 inches from the roof and then bounced over. The windshield (heated) is heavily s
pider cracked and glass dust showered the top of the dash but my wife and I are completely fine.

If the deer had landed a few inches lower it might have come right through the windshield and killed us.

My wife, who had previously been complaining that the vehicle was too high to climb in and out of, is convinced it saved our lives and promised to no longer complain.

The truck (just got clear bra and opticoat a week ago. sigh) can be fixed. We are okay.

Whoa!! A) glad you and family are safe, B) please... not the car!!! That blows. Real Tommy Boy scene here. Did you at least take a hacksaw to the occiput for a nice wall mount of horns? (That's what my family in Texas does when they hit a deer!)

Good to hear your family is safe. Lives cant be replaced. Vehicles can.

Glad you're both unhurt. Looks like the Sport held up pretty well, all things considered.
