Mine was very easy, I bought a 14cux from a 1994 Discovery. I removed the old one, plugged in the new one and that was it! The hardest part is that the 14cux is a MUCH smaller ECU, so you definitely have to slightly modify the mounting bracket. I took my bracket out, crimped it tighter and turned it 90 degrees because the ECU harness is oriented in a different direction than the 14cux. My idle adjusts perfectly with the A/C as designed with no modification. It was one of the best and easy upgrades I've done to the truck. Good luck!
