HI,
My RRC 95 LWB has left me confused.
before I closed the under dash panel and shutting down the car all was fine.

At the moment I have the following issue's:

With the key in position 1 2 or 3
Stuck in park
No electric seats ( spare ecu will go in tomorrow)
mirror keep adjusting with door open (seat ecu issue)
No hevac ( fan won't run)
No electric sunroof
None of the locks work.
no crank no clicking starter selonoid
Headlights fine
alternator refurbished and in good order)
Starter moter refurbished and in good order)
all fuses good (swapped all for new fuses just to be sure)
relevant relays all good

Seems to be an issue with the electric current distribution and my first impression is failing of the ignition key thing.
anybody had the same issue?

Wouter

power to electronics on a classic are simple. check the main fuse box panel next to battery, secure all connections, check your earth connections, beyond that you have relays and in cab fuse box but your gateway in the fuse box at the battery. there is a maxi fuse wedged in there also.

download the rave.

I do not know much about the ignition switch, it is a very logical place to check. I would start by ensuring the battery is properly grounded. How is your rust situation? Do I understand you cannot physically move the selector out of Park?

I'm pretty sure Doug DeMuro of all people sold his 95 LWB because a piece of plastic jammed the selector between park and and reverse and left him stranded.

that doesn't explain his other problems, so I'm putting bets on the iggy switch

Turned out that the 60a fuse for the ignition was blowen. Fuse die checkout ok this weekend but after Some wiggeling and replacing it with a new fuse the car started.
everything back To normal.

Reason why is still under investigation.
