Hi everyone,

Just before I come to a full stop, I feel the Rover jerk or kick (that's the best way I can describe it). I've searched online, but I can only find info on P-38s and newer. I've gone through the braking and transmission searches in the forum, but haven't unearthed much in the way of relevancy.

I've read that it could be the transmission, and I would need to have it flushed.

I have 1995 Classic 4.2 LWB.

The jerk isn't violent or incredibly rough, but it is noticeable. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Transmission is probably just shifting down and all the play in the differentials, drive shafts and transfer case, makes the jerking . At least on mine. I did check and lube everything but that is just mine Rover. It has been like this for years. Sometimes is there and sometimes not. This and some sloppiness in bushings could also be a factor.
