2009 Ranger Rover Sport Supercharged with 100K miles.

Hello All -

I just replaced the left front lower control arm. After bolting everything back up and torquing everything down, I noticed the rotor wobbles a bit. Approximately 1/8" of and inch when watching the back side. Almost as if the axle isn't tight. I did not remove the rotor or the brake calipers during the repair.

I bolted the tire on and torqued it and rechecked. It still wobbles. I checked the other side and no wobble.

I didn't have the axle hub nut to replace with new so I used the old one temporarily until the new one arrives. Could this be causing my problem? I still torqued it down to 258 ft lbs.

Im confused. Any help to cure my wobbles would be appreciated!

Thank you!

Seems to me that the wobble is usually caused by a bad wheel bearing. Could be time to replace the hub.

Thank you Sir! I just ordered wheel hubs for both sides to be safe. I appreciate the feedback!

Can you wobble the wheel when it's off the ground?
That is the test.
