Hey all! Just ordered some disc italia ceramic pads for my 2016 V8 Dynamic. I’ve got about 20k miles on her and notice a slight groove in my stock rotors. Feeling like I may just replace the rotors along with the pads.

Thought ?

Should I just go with disc Italia rotors as well? Slotted ? Cross drilled ?

Any input would be awesome.

Thanks and happy holidays !

It is normal for some grooves to appear on the rotor faces. If they are deeper than about fifteen thousandths, which is the industry standard, then they should be resurfaced or replaced.

Hey glad you got the pads ordered. I trusted my tire place that did the brake job and in their opinion the rotors were fine. If you are getting them done at a shop I would see what they say (assuming you are not DIY).

Based on Trez63's thoughts on this thread, I'm going to stick with OEM rotors.
