What exactly are you attempting to retrofit? Are you talking about changing your analogue for the newer display gauges? If so the adage applies that with enough money anything is possible. However the folks that have looked into it hit numerous road blocks. This is no plug and play task like changing tail lights to a newer model.

Hi RRtoadHall,

Yes the cluster for the digital on the SCV8, for some reason I think I had read that it was possible on the MY16 up, can't find that thread but maybe I'm wrong.

As far as I know, nobody has done it. As RRToadHall says anything is possible with enough cash but I think it would be price prohibitive.

I imagine at the cost it would take, you'd be better off getting an HST or HSE Dynamic. Where there's a will there's a way though!

Hi TS, I check with my local shop that specialised in retrofitting infotaintment, newer cluster soft closed door and even HUD and I was given a quite of about 3k usd for the job. I hestitated cos my car is also MY16 and u der warranty. So just in case JLR say I tempered with electronic. Secondly is he cannot retrofit the MY17 incontrol yet. If he can then It will really be tempting but at a much higher cost. Also a search in youtube and u see a shop in dubai is able to retrofit the tft screen like a piece of cake.

Yes, but keep in mind the cost of labour in your area. There is no way that $3kUSD could be matched in the US.
I am not sure how much the tft screen cost. Maybe in the region of 1.5k usd. And am already thinking another 1.5k labour for a 1-2 hr job is not that bad. Cos removing the screen is not a difficult task but the more of programming to make the screen match the car electronics and data. Maybe also because the shop specialised in doing these amd hence they can do it faster.
