Hi!
I have bought a 2005 RRS TDV6 2.7 with a heated windshield (wires in the glass) but not equipped with the switch in the HVAC. The car was imported from Italy...
Is it possible to rewire the heated windshield and retrofit a / the switch?
Has s/o done this?

ANything is possible. I would first check that the windscreen is actually wired in place and grounded and see if the fuses/relays are in place. I can't see anyone fitting a heated screen to a car not equipped for it. It is cost prohibitive and usually happens the other way around. A more likely scenario is that your HVAC controller had a fault and was changed out. If so a change of heater control unit would restore the heated screen operation.

Where can I find the connections for the windscreen? Under the A-pillar?
