Retracting Mirrors

I used to have an 04 Escalade and it had a button to retract the side mirrors for parking. Has anyone installed anything like this on their rrs or know if it is even possible?? Thanks.

Power folding mirrors were added on MY07 and later in the US... See this recent thread if you were thinking of retrofitting: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=33982

Would have to be sometime during MY07 as I don't have them.

I think you are right 3E, they may have come out in 2007, but as a new feature on MY08s.

That sounds right...my '08 bought in Sept '07 has them.

I use them as flippers to help propel the car forward during deep river fording.

Thanks Umberto , I don't think it is going to be worth all of the trouble. I guess I'll just put my lazy arm out the window and do it myself!

You've got to put a warning on this stuff...I just blew a Cheerio thru my nose laughing so hard with this visual..
