Got a replacement abs pump this morning and I'm gonna have a go at replacing it!

One quick question. It looks as though the system should not need bleeding due to its height location. Is this correct or is there something I should know about?

Not sure if the Brakes would require bleeding or not, but would have thought it would be an advisable precaution to change the brake fluid and bleed the brakes at the same time as replaceing the Pump. As the Brake Fluid does deteriorate with age and is something that get's overlooked.

WH repalcing ABS pump a complete by the book bleed procedure needs to be carried out, inc.

Brake fluid reservoir needs removing and thouroughly cleaning out, lots of debris will be found in screen filters.

Replace fluid every 2 years if you can as Brake fluid is hydroscopic (something like that) means it absorbs moisture easily
