Hello Group,

Well the honeymoon is over had the truck for a few weeks and the check engine light came on yesterday, notice some strange noises from underhood and a quick investigation reveals the belt/s have disintegrated!!
I picked up replacements for both belt today at the dealer, other than tight confines I am assuming this is a straight forward job? Better access from below? Tips appreciated, all rolling pulleys seem OK and no play in water pump was noted.

Cheers,
Chris

IIRC you do a belt swap from the top. turn every thing the belt touches anything thats not smooth or loose should be replaced

Thanks MrMerlin,
it turns out the tensioner on the SC belt let go, I purchased the "updated" Tensioner Assembly for both belts, hopefully this wont give any trouble for a while!
What is the service life on the SC belt?
Cheers
Chris
