There is a fault with the Instrument Panel in my RRS 2012 Supercharged. It basically is either on or off when I start the car and doesnt change while driving so its just pot luck if on or not. I have taken it to the garage (not dealership) who have looked at it over a couple of days and said that it cannot be repaired and I must replace the cluster.
Has anyone else had any similar issues? The odd thing is that if the panel comes on when you start the car then it stays on perfectly for the drive, doesnt flicker or go off or anything.
The garage have quoted me for a brand new cluster as they have said that a used one cannot be re-programmed for other cars, does anyone know if that is definitely true? For the new cluster, programming and labour its quite expensive so I just wanted to be sure!
