Just wondering if anyone has given any thought to replacing the EAS air lines with steel. The ends could be replaced with screw in adapters and steel lines used. Probably never crack or leak again.

Hmm, another thing. Might be rebuilding my valve block. But, I am now having problems finding anyone who still sources the kits to replace the O-rings etc in the valve block. Now we are having a particularly cold winter, my EAS is giving me fits with leaks and a failure to inflate etc.

Try X8R on Ebay. They ship worldwide, and do the best kits. I've used them many times.

For replacement airline use decent quality nylon airline - avoid the cheap pvc stuff, and simply run the pipes away from exhaust heat. Should last for years.
