How....it's as simple as that. The black plastic trim piece covering the air sensor and bottom of cubby box where the Sat Nav screen would be.
I'm loathed to pull it to hard, incase it breaks, but it shows no sign of giving in gracefully. :think:

You simply can't, you've to take the dash trim out. It's plastic rivetted or something

THe trim has plastic studs and metal speed nuts to hold it in place. Follow RAVE, remove the switch pack/nav trim as outlined and the sensor comes out with two screws. No need to remove the trim from the full assembly and risk breaking the plastic studs.
