Just bought my 11 RR last week and the oil was overfilled. I removed about 2/3 of a quart before the level was corrected and let the bottle sit on my garage floor until I could properly dispose of it. I noticed today there's some white sediment sitting in the bottom of it.

Dealer claims the oil was changed in the last 2 months while it was on their lot - any ideas what this could be? I siphoned it out of the tube in the middle of the oil filler neck.

Dealer over filled? Was it range rover or different dealer?
It's very likely for a non Land rover dealer to over fill, but not Land Rover.
Either way I wouldn't worry about it, could be condensation from sitting on the lot for a few months.
Good luck with ride!!

Thanks for the luck wishes- I love the truck. Been wanting one for over 5 years now!

It was actually a LR dealer- just picked it up certified and it was over filled about 1/2 - 1/3 quart.
