Hey,

I just replaced my factory stereo in my 96 HSE last week. I can help with directions if you are interested. As far as removal goes the first thing you need to do is carefully remove the trim piece around the stereo. Then you will find 2 small holes at the top of the stereo about an inch in from either side. You need to stick 2 nails in each of these holes. 2 1/2" to 3" nails are best because you need to stick them in about 1 1/2". once the nails are in pull up gently on the nails and stick your fingers in the tape slot and pull it straight out. I can post pics and links to proper install stuff if you want to replace it. It's not hard but it took a little detective work to make it work!
