I have a 2008 Range Rover SC which has some transmission problems. The transmission works fine in manual mode but in regular mode I get limp mode activated and car jerking. Codes I pulled are P0783, P0730, P0729, and P0732. I replaced the battery and currently I only get code P0783. I also notice that there are times when the car gets stuck in the 3rd gear. In order to get it out I have to come to a complete stop and put it in park. Also there is general jerking I notice and it has 160k miles.

I have a feeling that maybe the solenoids for the 6hp26 need to be replaced. My question is whether I should buy refurbished oem solenoids like in the link below or go with brand new oem ones? Any other thoughts on the problem. I just hope I dont need a new transmission because that would be costly. I appreciate any advice and thank you in advance!!

Thank you for the reply. I appreciate it! You seem to be the go to person on this forum for transmission related issues.
