My 2007 supercharged sport's battery is NOT dead yet. I would like to put in a red Optima. Can use some tips please. Do I have to raise the battery in the tray? If so what have you used? What do I have to do so I dont lose any of my electronic codes? Any thing else? Thank you!

I'm all for upgrades but I see zero reason to do this... do you know the AH / CCA of the OEM battery? Do they even make a battery which fits in there that offers greater capacity AND cranking amps?

Not to sound bitter, but it just sounds like you're bored so you want to change something randomly. These things have BEAST batteries in there from the factory, and matching the specs with a company like that will be tough - if anything, throw in the 950A TDV8 battery in there from the diesel (after yours dies!)

I have blue tops in the boat and they're great, but I needed new batteries and I could fit whatever I wanted.
