I'm based in the U.S. and used Mobil 1 ESP Formula 5W30 for an oil change a year ago. But just now, when I searched for my 2016 TD6 Range Rover on Mobil.com it states that "We currently do not offer any motor oils in the United States that meet these specifications."

Castrol.com, same thing. Pennzoil, Quaker State, and AMS too. And I refuse to patronize my crooked local dealer. I see Ravenol J1A1571-005 SAE 5W-30 available on Amazon for $11 a liter. Would anyone recommend that, or is there another oil that I can buy in a store? Thank you very much.

Folks, diesel and petrol engines take different specs for oils. Make sure the oil you are ordering meets the diesel TD6 specs.

Toad,

Thanks for reinforcing that. I mentioned that I had petrol in the response, but I would not want him to purchase and use the wrong product.
