I just replaced the rear wiper blade on my 2004 range and now it will not move but it does let windshield fluid out. It worked fine until I moved the wiper to replace the blade any ideas on what the could be problem.

Did you move the wiper arm by hand, or did you activate the wiper, then turn off the engine/power so the wiper would stop in a position in which you could change the wiper? It sounds like you may have done the former...?

I moved the wiper arm by hand because that is what it said to do in the manual. What do you think is the problem with it and how do i fix it.

I suspect the mechanism is broken. Whenever I do a change like this, I turn off the car when the rear wiper is in the down position.

Most probably its a case of tightening the head of the arm of the wiper on the rotor .. that what i did before and it worked fine .

sorry for my words but i dont know the technical names of the parts ...
