good day all...
i noticed today that the rear sensor when reversing is making a weird noise...sounds like it has a sore throat...anyone had the same problem?? anyone replaced??
not sure were to look ???thank you

Maybe your catalytic impregnator got flooded, so the flow to the sensor is being interrupted.
Easy fix, prime the magnetic actuator in the console and you're good to go. Make sure you're in Park and the engine is OFF before you attempt this repair.

Interesting theory there rafa, but maybe the rear parking aid sounder is just bad... It is located behind the LH trim panel in the luggage compartment, below the window. Other than the funny sound, does the PDC work normally (no blinking light on the dash button and/or long and high-pitched tones when you engage reverse, which would indicate one of the sensors on the bumper is bad)?
