Hey guys, so I am contemplating doing a vinyl wrap for my 04' Range and was wondering if anyone knew the approximate surface area. It's currently in Zambezi Silver but If I do proceed with a wrap then I might consider Grey, Blue, Gloss White and or Metallic Titanium (If you have any suggestions for possible colors please don't keep your thoughts to yourself!). I messed around in photoshop and in Grey (With the wheels also coated) the car would looking something like the following:

Amigo, I like where you're going with this. I was ready to bite on 3m 1080's Dark Matte Grey. I attached a video... I think it's the first one. For our trucks I've heard we need 275sq ft at least. Generally for the Hexis or 3m 1080 stuff it looks like Auto Vinyl Solutions will charge us about $600 for all the wrap.

If budget isn't your issue... you should look at 3m 1080 Brushed Metal options... I think there's a dark grey, a silver, and a black... for the black it looks amazing, it gives you that matte black look, but with that cut of super sheen from the brushed metal look.

Here's the black brushed metal on a Corvette! I love it.

These videos are the dark grey/ grey matte.

Hey Chuck thanks for the info! To my delight it was more then I had dug up :) I was looking online (ebay) at the 3m Scotchprint and Hexis, for around 300sqft it would cost us about 400-500$ for Gloss/Metallic/Matte, the brushed silver is twice as much. However these are all the "good" brands, I stumbled upon a chinese manufacturer which was willing to provide 300sqft of gloss/matte/carbon vinyl wraps in Black/Grey/White/Red for about 180$ which to be honest isn't that bad. I'll go hunting for that site again and if I am succssful in finding it I'll post it on here.

Ps. Good to see someone on here is from Calgary ahahha.
