Hello to all,

I am trying to source a maintenance manual for 2008 Range Rover Sport 3.6V8TDI maintenance manual, either electronic or paper(if they are still produced).

Also I have had quite a costly service recently completed on the transmission at 130,000 kms is this unusual and or should I plan a more frequent servicing regime for the Transmission, transfer case and diffs etc??

Thanks in advance

The gearbox should be serviced every 60,000-90,000km (ZF advice not LR). Diffs, tfr case should be done at about 60,000km. I just did all of mine at 84,000km and the front diff was really bad.

Not sure on a commercial workshop manual but you can register on Topix, buy a subscription and download a complete manual or just bits you need http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/i18n/index#

This is a great site and provides a lot of information but is petrol engined focused so sometimes not a lot of information on diesels. Try http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/ or http://www.aulro.com/afvb/index.php and look in the D3 section.

Cheers

Garry
