The 2019 Range Rover has been detailed by the British automaker this week.
Among the most prominent changes made to the Range Rover for 2019 is the addition of the P400e HSE model to the lineup. The P400e uses the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and 85 kW electric motor as the Range Rover Sport P400e and boasts an output of 398 hp and 472 lb-ft of torque. With a 13.1kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the SUV can travel up to 31 miles using electric power only. Land Rover claims it will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.4 seconds and top out at 137 mph.
Also new on the 2019 Range Rover is a ‘Wade Sensing’ system that provides the driver with real-time wading depth information in relation to the vehicle’s maximum wading capacity. The SUV gets an expanded suite of driver assistance technology as well including an available Active Cruise Control system with Steering Assist. The system is apart of the new Driver Assist Pack, which includes everything in the available Drive Pro and Park Pro packs too, such as High Speed Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Assist, Lane Keep Assist, a 360-degree Parking Aid, Rear Traffic Monitor and Clear Exit Monitor.
