I was doing a quick repair job in my 1992 SWB today and had the lower dash out on the drivers side.

When I was poking around checking the aux fuses I noticed this red multi-pin connector was disconnected.

Anyone know what it’s for?

Thanks!

i believe that goes to an oil sensor....when it goes bad it will make your oil light flash... it dosent affect your oil pressure signal when disconected... the other half of the plug is right above it...its red also

Thanks. It seems to be attached to a black box deeper in the footwell. I’ll see what happens if I reconnect them.

That sounds like the low level logic unit. There's a pic on page 771 in workshop manual.
Is your sensor on the oil pan still wired?

Thanks. You’re right about it being the LLLU. I’m not sure if it’s still wired. But will have a look.
