That sucks. I'm sure people will chime in with advice.

My 92 does not play tapes anymore so I have one of those cheap devices that sends my ipod signal to the radio.

If you search tapes or tape deck there should be a reference to a guy who is a specialist with RR radios. Maybe you can call him for help.

Hey Oscar - there are a few options for you.

1- contact Roverville - http://www.gb4x4radios.com/usa/ email john. He can help you. They fix or swap out factory rover radios if you do not wish to get too crazy with the rover radio.

2- you can attempt to swap out to a non-factory solution. As I did not wire up my head unit, but did inspect what was done to mine you can keep the factory amp/ sub (if you have one) but you must follow the rave wiring exactly to make it work. This would include splicing rover wires into RCA inputs to the new Head unit. On a radio install, I would rate this at about 7 or 8 out of 10 in difficulty.

3- find a good shop (not best buy) to do it for you. If you attempt to install yourself, most shops will not touch it, unless you are replacing everything.
