I went to Hornburg Land Rover yesterday to get scheduled maintenance done, oil change, checking all fluids, etc.
The service advisor gave me a call and told me I had a small leak in my radiator and that it will cost me $950 to fix. I did notice small drops of coolant on my garage floor but nothing to get me alarmed about. But $950!! I am planning on using some stop leak additive for the short term but going to an independent LR mechanic here in LA.
Btw, the service was horrible. I pull into the service center and wait outside by my car. Nobody comes to assist me until 10 min later and it is the service lot attendant who is checking my car for damage first and putting on the plastic cover on my driver's seat. Then a few more min goes by and he then tells me I have to go find a service advisor who is available in their office. I find someone and finally ask for assistance and let him know that every single time I've come to their LR service center, I always have to wait around. Why is LR service so terrible? I've gotten better customer service at other vehicle dealerships. The LR salesman will do anything to sell you a RR but their service center will do anything but provide good customer service. Just a lil rant.
