I get more and more confused each time I look at this!

I'm working on my Range Rover at the moment, it came with the engine in bits and I know things like the airbags are showing warnings, so I know over the next couple of months I'm probably going to need a few diagnostics checks and resets, so I'm trying to work out the best way to do it.

Firstly I get a bit confused about the price. Am I correct that I can get everything I will need for just under €500 +VAT? (Nano) or do I need anything else on top? I have an old laptop with a serial port or a new one with a USB to Serial Convertor.

Will I be able to do all of the following with the MSV2 Nano?:

Check for any fault codes
Reset any fault codes
Reset Service interval lights
Reset the airbag system and diagnose for any faults
Can I code in a replacement key into the BeCM?
Can I resynch the BeCM
Can I do everything needed to the EAS system?

In all honesty what I would like is a list of the limitations of the MSV2, ie what can't it do that I would still need to go to a dealer etc to get done, or what else would I need to buy to complete the package?

Hope that makes sense, I have read the literature on site 2 or 3 times and still don't know the answer!

Although this forum is dominated by Colin and BBS, we are not the support or sales source for his company. I would suggest contacting BBS directly for questions and concerns with their product prices.

No offence or problems at all. Products and pricing change frequently and the BBS site can be a bit confusing to navigate. Getting pricing info straight from BBS eliminates the chance of erroneous info from outside sources.
