Re: Question for those who recently sold their RRS & upgraded..
CL is probably your best bet as it's free and gets a lot of hits - I've sold several cars from CL. Some in a matter of hours!
I sold my 2008 RRS off swapalease.com - you can post a vehicle to have a lease assumed or you can post a For Sale ad. The fee is about $65 - $100 depending on what "package" you get. I live in NorCal and within 24hrs I had 25 inquiries on my RRS - ALL from the L.A. area. I had a bout 10 more from up north.
My only advice is this;
Given the current "state" of the economy you may be hard-pressed to find people who QUALIFY for a loan and/or have the cash. The first THIRTEEN (yes, 13) people were all declined loans and/or financing due to bad credit scores or high debt-to-income ratios. So be prepared to encounter a lot of people who are shopping beyond their means. Had it not been for the first 13 "losers" the car would have been gone in 36hrs but I had to keep moving on to the next person until "lucky 14" pulled through!
