Hello,

I would like to change my 2006 supercharged to a 2010 facelift and heard it is not just the lamps to change and the grill and bumper.

I heard you need to get 2010 headlamp washers and the complete pipe for behind the
bumper as the headlamp jets are smaller in the 2010 bumper . Also you need
to get a set of front park sensors again as the 2010 sensors are
smaller. Also you will also need new front armatures , front cross member lower , front
top cross member , wing clips and blank wire looms as the main work is
in wire by wire getting the standard looms converted and wired up to
work the 2010 led light?

Can anyone confirm this and let me know what the prices for these parts?

Thanks
Fabian

Re: Question for a 2006 Conversion to 2010 modell

Have a look on l322.com he covers the basics. Alot of parts can be modified rather than replaced. I fitted my older parking sensors by drilling out new bumper and fitting old type holders. This saved money and wiring mods. I've posted a few pics if you look at my posts.

Thanks! I actually talked to him on the phone today for quite some time. It would be great to get a lot of the part nr. I need for the conversion to get a local quote here for all of this. I hope people can help a bit :)
I will put a nice bodykit on it, I will change the front lights and rear as well in my update. Car will look like this when done :)

Started today the rebuilt of the car. Got the rear bumper off the car and start fitting the new one. The kit is beautiful quality and will look very nice. Would like to have the complete body kit on by end of next week ... will change the 2006 to 2010 lights and facelift.

Well after not being online for a while I just wanted to share the final result... it has now a matt anthracite finish and a lot of new carbon parts ... sorry just had some pics from the winter but you get the picture. Range also has some 22" wheels ... custom exhaust and most special we built the front lights our selfs with some custom finish!

Hope you like the final result.

Fabian
