I have a 2013 HSE that I purchased used..... I think it idles high, where if I put into drive its almost like cruise control the truck will go forward without me touching the gas pedal...it seems looking at the gauge its idling in drive at approx 650 to 675 rpm... My real issue is when I come to a stop i get the annoying noise from my front brakes like when you have wet pads... if I am rolling put the truck in neutral and use the brakes no noise.... thats why I think the idle is too high.. guys can you take notice to see where your rover is idling while in drive at a stop... I feel mine is maybe 50 to 75 rpm higher then it should be... I know not a big deal.... but the annoying brake noise bothers me, and the fact as soon as you take your foot off the brakes the truck slightly jumps forward with out touching the gas pedal, a few times sitting at light I must have slightly eased up on the brakes slightly and caught myself creeping forward almost hitting the car in front of me at a red light

thanks steve..... if you are in drive at a stop remove your foot from brake pedal does your truck pull forward or do you have to touch the gas pedal to make it move? mine jumps forward, I dont know if maybe there is an adjustment in the transmission like a stall speed? just annoying when i ease up on the brakes and catch myself pulling forward.

Mine just kind of glides forward when I take my foot off of the brake. There is no surge. What you are describing just doesn't sound right. I can't think of why that would be happening. I would probably have my dealer look at it.

Mine idles at around 700 rpm, if I stop at the lights, for instance, I have to apply a little bit of brake otherwise I would run into the car in front. It doesn’t surge, just moves forward. Nothing unusual, my 3 previous RRS were the same.
