Has anyone come up with a good solution for charging a phone in the L405 using Q wireless? I usually keep my phone in the drivers door hand hold as it fits nicely and is easy to remember when I leave....however it would be great to charge it while I was driving either a cup holder charger or maybe a mini Q charger that I could mount in the door..or somewhere else...Anyone use one or have mounted one?

There is an OEM option:

Wireless Phone Charging Cupholder

untitled22.jpg

The wireless phone charging cupholder has been designed to charge utilising the cup holder space in the centre console. The holder will accommodate varying phone sizes securely in place. The charger displays an LED light to indicate when charging, and turns off when complete. Fits phones up to 72mm wide. For use with Qi enabled wireless charging devices only. The wireless phone charging cupholder does not provide a connection to In-Control Apps.
Price: $409.27
Price excludes installation costs and taxes. Please see your Retailer for details.

Bumping this thread if anyone has good products or experiences to share, as I’m looking for a good wireless charging solution for our ‘18 RR.

The factory wireless charging cupholder accessory is kind of spendy so looking for other options before considering that choice.

So that OEM cup holder doesn't work with the "plus" models....nor does it allow "simultaneous use of either Android Auto™ or Apple CarPlay®."...what the hell is it good for then? Give me a lighting cable for $10 and I'll rig up a holder and get everything above.
