Good morning all,

I have an 07 L322 3.6 V8 TDI.

Twice i have noticed that when i have come to a stop and lowered the suspension there are puffs of white smoke, almost like something is on fire. This may not be linked to the lowering of the suspension, but both the times i have lowered it. It doesn't seem to do any harm to it and after a couple of seconds the smoke dissapears.

Has anyone experianced anything simular?

I have looked through other posts and couldn't see anything simular

I don't want my Range up in flames.....

The air pump is inside the car and under the spare tire. I think you would notice if it was smoking. I guess it's possible for the solenoid valves to puff a bit of vapor on a cold day...but I don't think you would see that from inside the car.

In other words...I don't think they are related.

The prime possibilities are an oil leak or a coolant leak.
