I had my entire sport Opticoated and then had the pillars filmed about a month ago. Hand washed and dried it today and let it sit in the sun for a few hours (65 degrees out). When I went to drive I noticed that the film on the door panels that were in the sun looked strange, at first I thought the film had bubbled, but after peeling the film off discovered the trim panels had actually warped. WTH? Anyone ever have this happen? Could the film have amplified the sun’s effect or just coincidental and just bad panels. The vehicle is under warranty and I’ve only had it for a few months.

Any chance you could post pictures? I've had the pillars opticoated but not filmed. They have swirls galore but it doesn't bother me as it's inevitable.

Could be a combination of the film, direct sun, and the plastic pieces.

I had my pillars wrapped 3 years ago and they’re fine.
